Data Collection
DevDay Technologies Ltd collects and stores only the personal data required to provide the Service. This includes account credentials, contact details, and usage data. We adhere to GDPR principles of data minimisation and avoid collecting unnecessary categories of personal information.
User Data Control
Users can deactivate their accounts and request the deletion of their personal data by reaching out to our support team at support@trydevday.com. When an account is deactivated, all personal data linked to that account is immediately and permanently removed from our systems.
GDPR Compliance
DevDay Technologies Ltd follows GDPR principles to ensure proper handling of personal data. We process personal data only where there is a lawful basis, such as legitimate interests, user consent, or compliance with legal obligations. We apply data minimisation, collecting and retaining only the information necessary for the purposes for which it is processed. Users have the right to access and correct their personal data at any time through the Control Panel. They also have the right to erasure (the “right to be forgotten”), which we honour promptly through the Control Panel or when an account is deactivated. Appropriate technical and organisational measures are in place to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, or destruction.
Immediate Deletion Upon Account Deactivation
When a user deactivates their account, DevDay Technologies Ltd ensures that all associated personal data is deleted immediately and permanently from active databases and backups. In some cases, anonymised or aggregated data that cannot reasonably identify an individual may be retained to help us improve our product, enhance assessment quality, and ensure system performance. This type of data is no longer considered personal data under GDPR.
Data Retention Reference
